What's pay-before-tip?

Funds are secured before any waste is tipped, by card pre-auth or auto-tare. No chasing payment for a load that's already on the floor, and mis-payments are less likely.

What's auto-tare?

We keep each vehicle's empty (tare) weight on file. The driver weighs in loaded, we work out the net weight and take payment. No weighing out.

How do drivers pay?

Online, through the Brijo site or their carrier app. No card machine needed at the gate.

Does the driver have to leave the cab?

No, all payments are made online from the cab.

Can Brijo pay out for scrap metal and WEEE?

Yes. Purchase paid recyclables with affordable pay-by-bank transfers directly to the carrier's account.

How much does it cost my site?

There's no platform fee. You pay a highly competitive rate on each payment you take: Contact info@brijo.co.uk for full rates.

Why do my carriers pay a fee?

For a small fee they get digital invoices, their waste transfer history, faster trips through your site and waste composition analytics.

How do you check carriers?

The carrier's EA waste licence is checked on every visit, and the Brijo carrier registry flags illegal carriers.
